More things!

And here I swore to myself I was going to try to post, I dunno. Once a week maybe? At least?

Fails!

So, here's the rundown.

I lost my housekeys (off my keyring. I had the rest of the ring, so.. wtf?) I got them back two weeks later when the mom of one of the kids in C's class realized she'd seen me walking by earlier, where a friend of HERS found some keys. YAY!

R went to the emergency room. We're guessing his eardrum ruptured, but we don't know for sure. Bleeding out the ear at 8 PM is not cool though.

New job! I am currently contracting for Acquia, working on their knowledge base. Because that's not something I've ever done before. OH WAIT. Seriously, I am thoroughly enjoying it. I already have many friends and acquaintances there, my team rocks, and I'm doing something I really enjoy.

I'm uh. Cross stitching! We've been watching the Netflix and I've been working on my Eight Immortals. So, years after I started it, I'm almost done with the first page! (there's 25. HAHAHaAAAHAHAHAHAHA).

I planted a garden. I got a couple of inexpensive raised beds from Home Depot, and there's sage, rosemary, thyme, 3 tomatoes, a zucchini, an 8 ball squash, a.. some kind of summer squash, a cucumber, a watermelon, some strawberries, and I've got basil, lettuce, and pumpkin seedlings going and they should get transplanted in the next week or so, once they're good and going and not likely to get totally overwhelmed by water in the planter boxes. Part of me is becoming more tempted to cover some of the grass up with these things, because more food, grown yourself = good.
